LittleBigPlanet for C64

Post by MarcosHealey »

Hi, i'm new here (well, new in sense I only just actually registered - have been visiting site for long time) - so sorry if I've posted this in wrong place, but thought i'd show some progress on my attempt at making a C64 version of LittleBigPlanet.

Progress is slow, but I'm enjoying every second of it!

As somebody who faced the arduous task of cramming it into a PSP, I wish the greatest of luck getting it into a C64. Also your jump is not "floaty" enough ;)

Well, as someone who was involved a lot with the original LBP, I can assure you, i'm not aiming for a feature complete port! ;)
More of an 'inspired by' kind of project!

The physics is going to be a bit tricky, my current plan is something char based, a bit like Tetris, or Boulderdash, and failing that, 'no physics' :)

HaHa.. I know who you are Marcos, we've met, only you were rather distracted by a Cintiq at the time ;)
The game is physics though... pistons, swinging, racing-a-long holding on for your life :) Can probably get away with some "pre-canned" though for swinging etc
