Any further progress on this so far?

Very small improvements made so far .. but I am now, finally, jumping back onto working on this. Sorry that it's taken so long............

I have no prior knowledge of this game what so ever.
But I do have to say that intro with Jon's work is the most beautiful in a long time!
Impressed by the quick loading times (for example) as one walks through several screens.
Keep on this!

Wow, this looks awesome! You guys are crazy! ;-) I love to see people putting so much effort and time into game projects like these for this 4 decades old machine and this game will be one more big milestone in this legacy! Great work, can’t wait to see it finished (and play it...) :-)

I never really caught the original game, but I was absorbed by Willow Pattern, which is basically the game...

Fancy intro with fancy graphics.
The in game plant life looks like it has received a fancy makeover.

I would have liked to have seen the original Player sprite retain it's original hires pixels with additional colour added.

There's no game here yet .. but you can explore the map, pickup the amulet pieces and some other objects (not placed in all rooms as yet), and find your way to the end location - which has the gatekeeper.

Keys:

M to bring up the fog-of-war map
C to enable cheats (walk through walls!)

Joystick in Port 2 only for now...
