How far can you go?

Game written for NOMAM's

BASIC 10-liners Contest 2023.

Requires:

- Atari XL/XE (or emulator)

- FastBasic 4.6 IDE

- 1 Joystick

Game instructions:

- Press Fire button to start.

- Use the joystick to move your

  white car to the sides.

- You can speed up and slow down

  using the joystick.

- Press the button to honk.

- Avoid crashing other cars.

- You have 20 seconds to pass 20

  cars to complete the stage.

- The remaining time of a stage

  will be quadratically added to

  the score.

- The street will narrow a little

  every time you complete a stage.

- If you crash into other cars or

  to the shoulder, the front hood

  will open and you must stop.

- Joining the traffic again takes

  valuable seconds.

- Honk to other cars, as they

  could move away from your path.

- The game ends when you couldn't

  overtake all the needed cars

  in a stage.

- Honk to play again.
