Programming:
Richard Bayliss
Graphics: Johan Janssen, Richard Bayliss
Music: Richard Bayliss
Genre: Duel
Tape Loader: Stoat's Turbo Tape
This was a playable demo I wrote as a game part for Covenant's demo,
Death or Glory. Unfortunately, due to various difficulties with this
demo part, I could not work out how to get the background collision
working, so as deadline was so close. I decided to scrap this entire
game. It was pretty nice looking, but sadly I never made it or finished
it. This is a game for 2 players only. Blast each other to smithereens
by firing your cannons and watch those ships sink. Well sadly it does
not work that way :o)

This is a Christmas game I wrote back in 2003. Play the role of Father
Christmas, who has to blast snow balls at the deadly christmas objects.
This game is WORSE than many other festive games that made it to the
Commodore 64. On the plus side, this was my FIRST EVER working
HORIZONTAL SCROLLING shoot 'em up game. It's a shame the playabiliy
isn't all that good. Please try it out for yourself anyway.
Give the Dog a Bone

Genre: Collect and Avoid
Tape Loader: Stoat's Turbo Tape
This game is a playable demo, which was part of the Assemble IT feature
on hardware Sprite/Background collision registers. Guide your pooch
around the maze, and get the bone, but watch out for the deadly walls
and traps. Sort of Balloonacy - with dogs :o)
Granny's Teeth Programming:

Genre: Arcade - Platform game (Single Screen)
Tape Loader: Thunderload by Martin Piper and Richard Bayliss
Oh no, after babysitting her grandchildren last night, Granny
Hegarty had woken up to find her house had been ransacked. The kids got
up before alright. It may sound bad for her, but it's even worse ...
Although she left her teeth in a glass filled with water by her bedside
... Her teeth has gone missing ... Granny was in a deep sleep, and
didn't notice the kids playing in her room. Now her teeth are in the
fish bowl. AARGH! SACRILEGE!
Help Granny Hegarty get up the
stairs to the fishbowl to get her false teeth back. The trouble is that
there's a lot of hazards lying around the floor. Watch out for the hole
in the ground floor. That will make her fall into a undiscovered
swimming pool. Granny can't swim :) ... Avoid Raffles the dog, he wants
to play, Tiddles the cat, and the other characters. There is no time
limit to this game. Just be careful and pick up your teeth, and score
points :)
Good luck Granny.
(Also features the Reset 4K game compo edition of the game)... Have fun!

Poor old Granny Hegarty. Last night she put her grandchildren
into a nice comfy bed. She lines up her false teeth and places them
into the glasses by her bedside and falls asleep in her bed. The next
morning she wakes up to to find that her house has been ransacked.
Raffles the dog and Tiddles the cat have entered the house, and the
floorboards have been torn apart. If that wasn't bad, Granny had to
face her worse ordeal yet. Her teeth have gone missing. Don't worry.
The grandkids were playing with the teeth and threw them into the
fishbowl. Now it is up to you to help poor granny get her teeth back.
Watch out for the oversize tacks, Raffles the dog, Tiddles the cat, and
a range of other crazy characters.
Gravity Programming:
Richard Bayliss
Graphics: Richard Bayliss
Music: Richard Bayliss
Genre: Arcade - Lunar Lander
Tape Loader: Dosoft D2T Loader
My first ever luna lander game. Still buggy, but sort of playable,
despite those little issues. The object of this game is to land your
saucer on to the landing pad , but watch out for the deadly alien
spheres. Collide into one of those and your space ship will become
toast. If you land enough times on to the pad, then you will move on to
the very next level. Best of luck commander!
Gravity 2 Programming:
Richard Bayliss
Graphics: Richard Bayliss
Music: Richard Bayliss
Genre: Arcade - Lunar Lander
Tape Loader: Dosoft D2T Loader
Lunar lander game sequel. Still buggy, and also playable,
despite those little issues. The object of this game is to land your
saucer on to the landing pad , but watch out for the deadly alien
ships. Collide into one of those and your space ship will become
smashed. To make things more challenging, the landing pad this time
round moves left and right. Quite a funny idea, but makes gameplay much
difficult and fun. Plenty of hardcore SID techno music this time round.
Gravity 3 Programming:
Richard Bayliss
Graphics: Richard Bayliss, Hiram Kumper
Music: Richard Bayliss
Genre: Arcade - Lunar Lander
Tape Loader: Dosoft D2T Loader
The last ever game in the Gravity series, featuring much nicer
graphics, with special thanks to Zeitgeist/Civitas. Your mission is to
pick up medical cargo from the delivery ship above Planet Zerox. Then
deliver the cargo to the Lunar HQ, by landing on the landing pad.
Unfortunately your mission will be quite a tough one, as an evil alien
empire knew about your delivery. So they decided to send a load of
their assorted alien ships to guard the planet and smash into you.
While you are landing your space craft, make sure you avoid collision
with the alien ships, otherwise you could lose a life. This game was
entered for the game compo at the Vision 2003 Party, and won the
competition - as there were no other Commodore 64 entries for this
compo. :o)
Grid Zone Programming:

Genre: Collect and Avoid
Tape Loader: Dance-A-Load/Martyload
Dare you enter the Grid Zone? ... You are Ned the Dog, who has been
transported to the Evil Traxxonian's Grid Zone, while his girlfriend,
Daisy ended up trapped in a laser powered cell. It is up to Ned to
collect all of those crystals from all 8 zones of the Grid Zone, and
get Daisy out to safety. One problem ... Ned has to face two laser
cannons and a floating orb to make the game more tougher. Also, Ned
can't touch the black areas as they are ... Holes ... Whooooo!
Gyro Run Programming:
Richard Bayliss
Graphics: Richard Bayliss, Hugues Poisseroux
Music: Richard Bayliss
Genre: Collect and Avoid
Tape Loader: Martin Piper
Gyro Run is a fun hi-score attack party challenge. The aim of this
game is to guide your spinner around the game are and collect the tasty
treats for points. The player is controlled by turning a dial 1 of 8
directions using left/right on a joystick, pressing fire will force it
to move the direction indicated by the arrow. Those tasty treats will
spawn at random. Alas, deadly skulls will also spawn at random, and you
will want to avoid those. For every treat you pick up you will not only
score points, but you also activate a temporary shield.
It is likely that objects will spawn at exactly the same spot of
another object or where you are, so you had better watch out. When you
hear an alarm, a bomb will replace one of the objects. You can pick
that object up to clear the arena, but you will also lose a shield if
active. How far can you get in this game. Also can you score loads of
points?
