New game - Total Pattern

Total Pattern is a new game by Digital Team. The game’s preview had it’s debut at Retrokomp/Loaderror 2015 party. After that djpiotrs was joined by Selur, who created new graphics and Andrzej Drozd, responsible for the soundtrack. The work continues and the game should be released shortly.

The game is based on Sokoban, but with some tweaks and changes.

Looks very nice. Polished interface and sharp graphics. The game pointer looks to be keyboard/joystick operated. Is this just my imagination, or will it also be mouse operated?

Looking forward to the full version release

Likes: ingame presentation, theme, puzzler

Dont likes: intro sequence isnt as high quality looking as game, name "total pattern" is weak, needs a single name that is punchy and catchy like "Frenzy" for instance , really, REALLY dont like the name at all.

Take the criticism as constructive, the graphical theme in the game itself looks nice.

I like Sokoban.

This certainly looks good. Any idea when we can get our hands on a playable demo, or the finished article?

ive got the final demo, it is being tested before release. i've been advised it won't be long i don't think i should spread it, for obvious reason.
what i can say, is at this moment there are 20 levels and they are difficult. i've mentioned to them that level editor would be great idea but dunno if that's gonna happen.

Looks great. I really enjoyed Sokobond, a chemistry themed version of Sokoban and thought an Amiga version would work well.

Looks great!

I also see the same guy made another Amiga game last year called Mink Gold. Never heard about that before.

I like new Amiga game announcements, though I don't like guessing what format its for!? Is it Classic Amiga (68k?) or any of the newer 'models'?

Off topic in relation to the original thread...

Regarding "Mink Gold v1.00". I wasn't going to share this but now after reading your post and the fact that butfluffy asked me to create an .ADF of this...

Now in The Zone! for anyone who wants a quick try without having to install to hard drive

Use an AGA / 2MB Chip & 1MB Fast RAM configuration.

Thanks for the ADF of Mink Gold.

There is some bugs in the game that makes it not very fun to play. The most serious bug is that you only have one life. In the programmers video he start on the level he dies on.

Also there is bugs with the highscore. You can only enter 7 characters. It is also impossible to get the highest score even if you collect everything in the game.

And some other bugs...

Let me know if you can figure out how to play with sound-fx instead of music. There is a 454kb file with all sounds. But you can't hear any of the sounds in the game.

Ok guys; made a very quick bootable floppy disk from the "total_pattern.lha" archive found here: http://gryretro.com/steelhawk/total_pattern.lha

As warfalcon has mentioned; the extracted files are 2.4MB in size... Even when running from hard drive you need 2MB Chip & 1MB Fast or Slow RAM...

So use the following configuration in WinUAE:

... AGA 2MB Chip & 4MB Fast RAM

In The Zone! for anyone who wants to try

Thanks a lot DamienD for that

Regarding warfalcon's question, this game was written in Amos, hence the size and req.
To be honest I'm glad they have finished it and i consider it quite a good game. And it's not backbone I was talking to djpiotrs, who did all the programming, and he is thinking of a new project so it's time to support him, i guess
