"Burn Us EXP" is a sequel to this year's first MSXdev entry, which, according to its creators, has become a vitaminized version of its predecessor, full of additional surprises.

Thousands of years ago, a religious sect known as "GIVEMEHARD" predicted the arrival of the Messiah. Today, it seems that the moment has arrived. They are bold in their conviction as how to reach the Enlightenment, specifically that they must make a voluntary sacrifice in each and every one of their sect's sanctuaries, so that Lord Givemehard deigns to appear.
The means to achieve this are simple: each monk must find the sacred lighter and the gasoline of the Lord and burn themselves to the bones on the appropriate altar. Only when that happens, will everyone endure orgasmic pleasures with the crackling of their burns. Long Live Dameduris!

This is the starting point for a piece of madness inspired by the Konami's classic King's Valley. Awaiting the player are 18 screens (many of them double), snakes that strangle, firemen who dose you in water, pipes that wet you, rafts that have to be emptied, switches that illuminate areas, stairs with hidden mechanisms, daggers with different uses, and pumps that drain water to facilitate access to new floors of the sanctuaries.

Benjamín Miguel was in charge of the programming and came up with the original idea. The game's graphics were done by Jorge Romero, while the illustrations are by Jose Luis Salguero. This game has become popular in the MSX world thanks to the communication work of David f. Gisbert (tromax). The game features very appropriate music by John Hassink, which is guaranteed to take us to that weird, wicked world of sanctuaries, snakes and fire.

Although it is the second game of Benjamin Miguel in assembler, this is the first title of the company Carambalán Studios. They're a small team that identifies with the joy of doing what they like and tell the stories that they want, with the primary intention of creating software that their players will have a good time with.
If you would like to preview the game, there is a promo video on YouTube, which also has the ordering information in the description.

The game includes box and instructions leaflet and the retail price is 25€. But, if you make your pre-order before September 15, you will get a 2€ discount, so you will only have to pay 23€.
