run avoiding Coyote's rockets that
follow you.
Game written for NOMAM's
BASIC 10-liners Contest 2024.
Requires:
- Atari XL/XE (or emulator)
- Atari builtin BASIC ROM
- Joystick controller
Game instructions:
- You are the Road Runner.
- Use the button to jump over the
cactus.
- Use the joystick to move to the
left or to the right.
- Avoid the rockets while you jump.
- There is only one life. How many
points could you get?

Install instructions
Load instructions:
- Boot ROADRUN.ATR disk with BASIC
enabled (without [OPTION] key).
- Type ENTER "D:ROADRUN.BAS" and
press RETURN key.
- Type RUN to run the game.
- Play the game using a joystick.
- Press the trigger to play again.

A finely honed and playable game, showcasing some smart use of sprites by someone who was clearly paying attention ..
