Svlcvss d

While graficians I work with, Koyot and d4rk 3lf are already working on our two other little games, I had some time these days so I used some of their assets to whip up this demo that I had lying around for quiet some time in some semi-playable form.

Ohh ! Gyrus ! That C64 game i liked to play with my Brother, so many years agoo…

Now you only have to add the great music, and the planets you arrive to between every level !

Good job !

Hey have some unused tunes that might fit that game if you need, two channels in-game and a four for title...

Looking amazing, it is nice opportunity to make a nice Gyruss clone. I seriously miss the ingame music in this game. Like the wonderful Gyruss soundtrack. DJ Metune is an amazing Amiga musician, he can do the soundtrack.

Maybe we should have first a Gyruss game playability there too, that is, at least for the arcade, substantially a Galaga on polar coordinates; maybe a crossover with the NES version?

Ah and possibly 16 rotations for the player ship too ^^

My idea was to combine stardust and gyruss. Stardust has that amazing tunnels but poor gameplay while gyruss has amazing gameplay which I can only wish to come near. I'll have to start thinking of how to implement enemy trajectories and waves. I thought I'd need bigger enemies but looking at gyruss again I think I just need more of them.

And 16 rotations for the ship

based on the video, it looks really good.
I like the depth as you have time seeing the enemies coming
