Floppy disk Landfill - new Amiga game out now

I'm pleased to say my first Amiga game is now available for download.

Landfill is written in C and features music from EAB's very own saimon69 (thanks!). It needs real-world testing so please report any bugs or incompatibilities!

Gameplay

Landfill is a little like Tetris or Columns but with its own unique gameplay. Here, you have a chain of household items. You remove items by matching them with the next item in the chain. As the game progresses, new items appear and it becomes a rapid memory game. You can use the fire button to swap with items to the left or right.

Requirements:
Any Amiga with 1mb RAM.

Here is the guy

Did create the nick on 1988, swapping from the game Fernandez Must Die its name and in demoscene fashion; however recently the nick became a recursive acronym as JMD Music Deployment.

Other italians in the forum could relate with the feelings at the time - yup, was (still kinda is) THAT bad as performer :P

Coincidentally, in a radio broadcast heard just days before this game, there was a discussion about acres of flip flops washed ashore on some Pacific island. It seems there's an inventor who is manufacturing flip flops out of algae. Supposedly this cuts the time to decompose from decades to months or years.

Tried Landfill on my A1200/040 and it doesn't work. Black screen and nothing happens. I tried launching it from icon and from Shell after boot without startup-sequence.
By the way the file icon looks corrupted, maybe the .lha archive is broken?

Thanks for the info. The lha was kind of last minute so I’ll check it’s ok.

Could you possibly give the files from the ADF a go?

I’ve recently tested on my A1200/030 but not my A4000/040 so I’ll do that today as well.

@PopoCop
For launching to HDD you must assign Landfill:

You can test with generic WHDL. Can be will it work
Landfill-WHDL.lha

Landfill works with assign - thanks Aladin. LHA archive is OK excluding corrupted icon. ADF works too but icons are also corrupted.
